Kinda lame pics but I blocked in major colors tonight, even tried a little wash on the metal, over the cygnus. Hope to finish by next week.

Brassy

I want to do something different. I like the idea of a more steampunk feel to him, lots of Brass and browns. I want to stay away from bright blues or whites. I like this color set, although it is a little too "2000 leagues."

I have only begun to block in the Ancient Brass, but here is the T-head so far,

Reminder, I'm blocking in the color, I dont want as much blue, I want the Cygnus to be gunmetal or dark iron.

Been a long-freakin' time since I've posted anything. We just moved and finally felt setteled in enough to bust out the paints and stuff. Also getting a Thunder Head for my b-day didn't hurt. I wanted to base him like the brushthralls tutorial so I made this base:

Next, Thunderhead with some pins in his feet:

Now to bring it all together:

Im pretty pleased with the base, it was easy to put together and adds a killer touch to the model.
